Ducklings on Clapton Pond

I’m not normally a wildlife photographer, but news that ten ducklings have been born on Clapton Pond was enough to get me out there with my camera. When I arrived the mummy duck had all ten ducklings hidden under her wings. I had to pop to the local shop and buy a bit of bread to entice them away from each other. After that they seemed very happy to go for a swim across the pond. Who says you have to live in the countryside to be close to nature?
