International Women’s Day

It’s the centenary of International Women’s Day today and so it seemed like a good day to post a collection of images which I made a couple of years ago of women before and after they became mothers for the first time. I loved doing this project as it felt like such a privilege to enter these women’s lives at such a special time and try and capture some of the essence of the emotional changes that they were experiencing, with my camera.
